| I found a great sale on this meat, and I need some recipes. I have plenty of versions of BBQ for them, so I need something else.
I would appreciate any help you can give me. |

| Do you like sauerkraut? They'd work well in this: SPARERIBS & KRAUT (serves 3 or 4) 3 lbs spareribs 3-4 cups sauerkraut 1 tart apple, peeled, cored & sliced 1 tsp caraway seed Cut the ribs into individual portions & brown in a heavy pan. Add the juice from the sauerkraut & enough water barely to cover. Simmer, covered about 45 minutes. |

| I know this thread is a couple of years old, but I was searching for something different to do with country style ribs besides the tried and true barbecue, and I found this thread. I tried Ann T's recipe and my family LOVED them. I used the drippings to make a nice spicy gravy, too. Thank you Ann! |

| This is so easy! Pre-heat oven to 275. Lightly coat ribs with vegetable oil and place on rack with pan lined with foil. Sprinkle both sides of ribs with lots of lemon pepper and garlic powder(in place of the gp, you can use minced garlic). Let stand about 30 minutes before cooking. Cover with foil and cook for 3 hrs. I love country style ribs, so I'm going to try all of the above! Donna |
