| I have a bumper crop of Chickasaw and hog plums this year and thought I might experiment with a panecota. Does anyone have a tried and true and not-too-complicated recipe?

| Is This What You Mean ??? Wouldn't know where you could find it already packaged, like Intant Pudding. Any dish worth making is worth putting a little effort into it. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Panna Cotta

| Thanks ever so, Lisbet! I didn't even think to look for alternate spellings. I reckon I should've said not-too-intimidating. I don't mind extra effort, but when it gets really overly complicated, I tend to get intimidated. 8-] |

| You are quite welcome.....hope I am of some real help! My mom used to make a delicious raspberry sauce to pour over. Your plums should make this a delectable, delicious dessert!! |
