This is a nice chicken dish that you can make the night before, then pop it in the oven a little over an hour before you serve dinner. Ann

Chicken Clarisse

1 chicken fryer, cut into pieces
1 cup apricot preserves
1/2 small onion, minced
1/2 tsp garlic salt (I use powder)
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 Tbsps soy sauce (I use light)

Place the chicken pieces into a well greased baking dish. Mix together all other ingredients and spread over the chicken pieces. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
