I bought several limes to make a Key Lime pie but my company has postponed their visit. Can I squeeze the limes, freeze the juice and then when I'm ready to make the pie, be able to use the thawed juice? I guess I'm concerned about how thawing may affect the juice and then the setting of the pie filling. Thanks! Ann

You sure can! You can also freeze the whole limes but don't plan to use them for sliced limes. They get squishy.

Thanks, Ginger. I think I'll "juice" them and freeze the juice...then buy one new gorgeous lime for thin slices to decorate :)
