LOOKING for: Mrs. Flick's Oatmeal Cookie

Tne Kansas City Star is looking for Mrs. Flick's Oatmeal Cookie Recipe. The Flick Bakery was open from 1926 - 1970 in KC. Her oatmeal cookies were sent to soldiers during WW II. It was a soft, chewy & 3" wide cookie. I understand they broke some of them up purposely & sold them for 15 cents a lb.

Thanks.

I searched high and low for the recipe. Sorry, I couldn't find any other forum or copy cat site that has the recipe.

Thanks for searching, blizlady. I just checked the KC Star & nobody has sent it there either. It has obviously slipped between the cracks.
