RECIPE: Dates- Party Favor - Need Help Pls

Posted by qmarker (My Page) on

We need to make a lot of the mini aluminum pans of either Date bars or Date quick breads or a pound cake with Dates in it. I'm in search of a couple ideas & answers.

Is there any kind of package mix that we can simply add Dates and maybe orange juice or nuts etc. to instead of starting from scratch?

If we use the littlest aluminum pans (about 5"x3") then how long to bake? (These are similar to the 8-in-one-pan size.)

This is for party favors for a large party using a "Date Theme). That is calendar dates but we thought a date edible would be cute favors for each.

Appreciate any ideas cooks !! And thanks
