| i have started my spring cleaning.....you know floor to ceiling and wall to wall.....so, in the process, i found a motherload of flavored vinegars.....and i have wondered how i can use them in dishes..
i made stuffed peppers the other night, and put in tarragon vinegar.....it was very mild, and very tasty.... so, can you all come up with different ways to use many different flavors of vinegar. i sure have missed not being here....lindatn |

| I'm not sure about flavored vinegars but ever since I discovered on epicurious.com a recipe for lentils that included 2 tablespoons of basalmic vinegar added before serving I am hooked on doing this for all my bean recipes. It adds a very nice complex and slightly sweet taste. So I'm wondering if basalmic vinegar is so great, would other vinegars work also (but maybe with a slight different taste)? |
