| Some of the cake-mix recipes printed on the side of the box are pretty good -- usually moister than the given recipe. Found a REALLY good one on the back of a store-brand [Kroger] "Granola w/ Raisins" cereal box. It makes 5 dozen. [I added chocolate chips, mini's are best for rolling purposes, and would've added nuts, but our church has asked us not to bring food containing nuts due to allergies [the preacher's son].
GRANOLA CHEWS 1 3/4 c. flour
Stir in remaining ingredients EXCEPT CEREAL. Mix until smooth. Stir in 3 cups cereal. Form dough into 1" balls and roll in
Place 2" apart on greased cookie sheets Bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown. chery2 |

| Thanks, Chery. I'd have to pick out the raisins though. :) |

| Ginger, you don't have to bother; it comes w/o raisins, too. [the Kroger brand, anyway.] chery |
