I have lost my recipe for meatballs and rice. If I remember right, one of the ingredients was whorshire sauce. I think I may have the name of the sauce spelled incorrectly. I do apologize. But it has a tangy taste to it. Do anyone have a recipe like this. Please help. Thanks in advance.

This is the recipe I use for the grandkids - they give it 2 thumbs up - when I make it for adults, I throw in Worcestershire sauce and garlic and maybe some other miscellaneous seasonings. Oh, and I double the sauce because we like it with mashed potatoes. Thanks, Ginger! GINGER'S PORCUPINE MEATBALLS 1 1/2 lb ground beef Mix well the beef, rice, onion, milk, salt & pepper. Drop by tablespoonfuls in 9x13" pan. Set aside. Combine soup & water. Pour sauce over meatballs. Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 hour.

Thanks for posting that one, Woodie. I didn't because it didn't have Worcestershire sauce in it but I agree it's an easy one & turns out well.

Another one who seconds Ginger's recipe. It was a favourite of Meredith's when she was home and one of the recipes she makes for herself at university. Easy cheap and tasty, everything a university student needs! I have never added the Worcestershire but can see how that would work.

I was searching online for a recipe that was similar. I found one close to it. It's the sauce that makes all the difference when it is poured over rice. meatballs & Sauce Meatballs 1 1/2 lbs ground beef Sauce this is close to the recipe I lost. If I find it, I'll be sure to post it.
