Here in NC, the entire first floor would have to be valued the same as a finished basement, because part of the floor is below grade...

I feel sorry for the homeowners, what a bad picture taken from a lousy perspective - or poorly cropped. I can't figure out which. Much better pic on zillow.

It doesn't look that bad in person but yeah, that photo stinks. I don't feel sorry for them exactly- presumably they looked at their listing and didn't bother to change it. The listing agent oughta be fired for pure laziness, though.
