I had to choose shingle colors the other day for my new house and I got a couple of samples from a roofing supply store and that helped me see them at the house. I choose one called driftwood by landmark, I think. It is a blue grey brown. That might work with this house--mine is also a blue grey.

Congrats on your accepted offer! I would either use dark gray or black with a gray house.

I'd choose black or nearly black. The current shingles are almost the same color as the siding which doesn't give any contrast. I prefer some contrast between the siding and roof. Just my $0.02.
