Maybe talk to all the neighbors. We found out a lot (unfortunately) after we closed from the neighbors. Dogs using the upstairs as their potty, interior damage from a kitchen leak, and outside drainage problems not disclosed but many neighbors were aware.

Can you find out what other properties these flippers flipped? And talk to the current owners? I've always felt that flippers were more about fluff than quality.

Was the house ever lived in? Or, simply built, then bank-owned?

We had one similar in our neighborhood. It was built, but never lived in. Then, it was gutted/stripped. Then, bank-owned/foreclosed, and "flipped".

They've had off again on again issues with the stucco and chimney flashing.

But, it will be good if you can find out the condition of the home prior to the flipper owner (all copper stripped out? Rodents with access? Raccoons? etc)

Speak with the neighbors, and call the county permitting office and see if they have any records of the work being permitted at the home.
