| doing anything to this kitchen is mostly for me; the issue of resale someday is only a secondary thing. Yes, the problem with my ceramic tile floors are that the whole thing washroom/kitchen are tied in and blended to tile throughout the house. I do have that break you see in the floor tile between the kitchen and living area. As you can see, I have upgraded the hardware. I've also replace the cheap particle board shelving with solid oak shelving that really help the interior cabinet appearance. I was in a cabinet shop yesterday and saw some Corian countertops they were finishing. I don't know, maybe there is something wrong with me, but I saw absolutely no difference between the Corian and a couple of high-end laminate countertops I've looked at that were 25% the cost of Corian. |
