Process almost over

We finally got our home sold, for 8k less than original price but it all worked out okay. Then the day we signed that contract, one came on the market that was perfect. And 80k less than what we were going to build because perfect (1 story, 4 bdrm, 3 bath, with good sf on some land) didn't exist in our price range as far as we had seen. We went to see it the next day and loved it, even picky husband said "make it happen!"
Our agent said they would never take a contingent offer until we were past the option period but she would try. It's a seller's market in that town. Multiple first day offers.Turned out that since it was an odd situation and we would be willing to accommodate, they took it! Even though they got other offers. We did offer a little over asking price.
We got past all the hurdles on both houses. Everyone on both sides are reasonable so inspection negotiations were easy. Appraisals both passed. Now it's just the final closing we are waiting on, June 20 for both homes. Then the headache is that due to the odd situation, the seller needs a one week rentback. Which makes us homeless for a week. With 4 kids and 2 dogs.
Last thing to do is pick a warranty company. Why I'm here but I'll go to the search bar now,
