My wife and I are planning to downsize and relocate. We cringe at paying a large real estate commission on the sale of our home. I thought some neighbors might be interested in our home for themselves or family as we are one of a few homes located on a 65 acre park tract, which can be beautifully viewed from the rear of our home. How can I reach out to them to see if they might be, or know someone who would be interested? It could be a win win for everyone. In addition, we are able to pay a small buyers commission on the sale. We thought that after we have the house appraised we could reach out with a friendly letter. We were wondering if anyone had ever done this, what they said in their communication and the result. Thank you all in advance for you thoughts.
