1917 quilt

I recently bought several quilts from a friend's parents estate. She just emailed pics of some more that didn't sell. This one appears to be from 1917 and measures 66x66. I don't think I can buy anymore, but wanted to show this to you. If you want to see the rest, I can post pics. I don't remember if I ever posted pics of the other three I bought. I know I posted the first one.

See? Even back then, someone felt the need to control scrappy!! (It's not just me!)

I think it's a treasure...to have these old quilts, even if they aren't from your own family!

That quilt looks like it weighs about 50 pounds! LOL How nice to have something with a date on it. You can see the Victorian influence in it.
