This is a quilt top I worked on at Retreat.
Not exactly your colors-except the bright -in-your-face green ~LOL~
It was a Quilt Along by Judy Laquidara from Patchwork Times.
Her piecing instructions were / are straight forward & I like her methods.
She offers free patterns and if you read her blog, she has different EQ renditions using different colors.
Hopefully, this will give you some ideas. (Don't let her chicken stories scare you off!)
This one is Road to Round Rock - not competed. I used all fabric from my stash except the brown border fabric.

Any flower color (pink, red, blue, purple) would probably combine well with your fabrics. If you are wanting to use both in the same quilt but not next to each other, you could use one in the blocks and the other as a border.

Oh, thank you ladies! Both of those are color combos I had never seen but they have me thinking! Donna - I had thought of using purples too.

This is just one of my compulsions - when I find a difficult fabric, I try to figure out how to make it beautiful (or at least interesting!)
