If you are talking of what I think you are, then Sharon's link should help. I am linking to a more informal site, with more informal intructions for making the Sioux stars, in general. Looks like Sioux star is another name for the Lone Star pattern. I was familiar with the Sioux tradition, but not the lone star pattern. IOW if you can make a bargello, you can make a Lone star. Here's a video you might enjoy. I am cranked.......I could DO THIS!
