Quilting slump

Just an update on my slow progress on what was supposed to be a simple quilt:
I've turned the 4th corner on the binding and am coming down the stretch on the last side - YEAH! I don't think I will ever again do a narrow binding by choice. And especially not on a quilt with scalloped borders! That's what I get for deciding to use fabric from a skirt so the fabric amount was limited. This has been a bad case of creative constipation!

Oh, Karlene, I do sympathise with you. It's tough to do a narrow binding, I know, but it really is the only way to go with a scalloped border. I hope you will post pictures when you are finished.

(shaking my pompoms now) Go! Karlene! Go!

Finish that binding! Yeah!

Oh, I am sitting here laughing out of empathy. I'm happy to hear you are on the home stretch. I nearly always do the narrow binding. I just like the way it looks. I'll bet your's shall be beautiful.

I'm almost to the point of binding off my crib quilt. I am just wrapping up hand quilting block eleven out of twelve. I was getting a block and a half done a day, now am down to one block in three days, lol. It's like slow motion. Hard to keep up your enthusiasm when you think you would have wrapped it up a week ago.

Please take a picture of your quilt when you finish.

I'm so pleased for you. Once this is done, you will feel so glad you've done it. We'd love to see your "baby".

I finished a small, easy one last night and it always feels good just to get on. I have so darn many UFOs sitting here ready to quilt I may have to lock myself in a room and go to it. When it gets cold and rainy, I hope to knock a few off the list.

(yes, I'm yelling! Well, cheering really!)

I, too, always do a narrow binding. Can't wait to see what your project looks like done!
