Seam ripper,and go right down the middle of the stitches.

I'm with Kathi on this one: seam ripper right down the middle. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't have the wine and the brownie too!

I just had to do this on my 'cat' quilt. It took me 4 days 'cause it is such a pain!!!

Take it slow and don't stretch your fabric!!!

Use really good tweezers to help pull out the small threads.
Now is the time to treat yourself to a new small sharp seam ripper.
Removing any stitching makes me crazy!

I usually just pull the bobbin thread out - clip it every few inches and it should come out pretty easily. Unless you're talking about satin stitch...
