Ask and you shall receive. I have a large red and white sampler that I had quilted by a long armer. I know you prefer to quilt your own, but thought you might like to see these blocks anyway. I would probably just do echo quilting around the seam lines and a floral motif in the plain squares. Look at the third and the fifth picture down for an idea.
