Linda, I found this pattern that is larger but has the same concept. Maybe it will help to look at it. But the side pieces would be like the main pieces but upside down. lol

Boy, that really spells out the instructions, Sharon. For Linda's quilt, the rows continue across but a person could figure out the pieces by just assuming the red parts are half-minus the seam allowance.

My problem is getting each row to come out the same length. It has to do with sewing the angled pieces together in the middle row. For some reason I can't get them matched and to start sewing in the correct place. My middle row is about a half inch too long.
I have the first row of trees finished and had to re-sew some of the middle row to make it fit. I marked the centers of each dark tree and pinned them to the row above, then re-sewed to make it fit.
