I'm on a roll!

I finally got in the mood to sew and I don't want to stop! LOL Here are three more projects I finished this weekend.

I made this Christmas mosaic top from a kit back in the summer. Quilted it Friday and bound it yesterday.

This runner was started in a Quilt University hand piecing class last fall. I finally finished hand quilting it the other day.

Here's a close up of the quilting. I'm not a very good hand quilter because I don't do it much! LOL

Finally, the guild president gave me this mug rug kit for Christmas last year. It's been sitting on my sewing table all this time!

I spent a long time this morning ironing the backing fabric for my Celtic Solstice - it's next up to be finished. We have our church Christmas concerts next weekend so with rehearsals and the concerts I won't have much sewing time for a while.

Glad you got your groove back!
I just made four mug rugs for friends. I used Friendship Star which I thought was appropriate.
Really like the mosaic. I have had that pattern in my folder for a looong time. Maybe i had better get it out.
My hand quilting leaves a lot to be desired and I applaud those who do it.

Well done. I really like the mosaic one. I loved to hand quilt when I was able to. I still have a wall hanging I'm working on.....periodically. :-)

Sometimes we need a break to recharge the creative side of our brains. You have accomplished alot this weekend. You keep going! It looks like you tested all your skills and they all still work.

Great work, Donna. It feels so good to get quilting again. I finally got my office/sewing room reorganized with my new closet shelving, and I started quilting again today. Hopefully, I'll be able to post some completed projects soon too.

Good for you! I really like the mosiac, especially since I love stained glass. Is it paper pieced? I still don't know enough to be able to tell.
