Quilting Workshop 2012

My small quilt group has a workshop annually. In August we had an all day workshop and made Granny Squares. I used my 1930's fabric that I have been collecting for years. It only made a dent in my 30's stash.
We always have a wonderful time together. I forgot to blog about it at the time and was reminded by a friend that I hadn't done it yet so yesterday I put up some pictures.
Do you go to workshops with a group or guild? Do you all make the same project?

RE: Quilting Workshop 2012

I go to workshops sponsored by our Guild that are taught by 'famous' quilters and artists. They are scheduled monthly from Sept - May except Dec & Jan. about 2 years in advance! I try to participate in as many as possible for the last few years. We normally make a square or portion of the subject matter being taught.
The Guild also has 'BEE's" and Book workshops that I have not attended.
Your group looks like fun, casual and productive!
