Hi everyone! finally am back in Australia after my trip around the US for 6 weeks. I had a fantastic time meeting up with so many quilting friends - both at Camp Cheerio and from another internet site.
Camp cheerio was fantastic and I look forward to returning another year to meet up with everyone again. I got to visit Ohio and Quiltpartner, Camp Cheerio in NC, Alabama & Grammy P, Arkansas & micyrey (she drove down from Missouri) - missed hazelnutbunny because she was sick, South Carolina & Sandlapper Rose, Washington DC, PA and NY with Sandlapper Rose, then NH, Ma & Maine. Had to leave Buffalo early to avoid "Sandy", so was safe with friends in NH when the hurricane hit on Monday. It was quite wild up there, even though it was away from the centre of the storm. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in your country - now have to sort out the thousands of photos I took and record all the wonderful experiences I had. Kristene (tinyteena) |

| Glad to hear you made it home safely! Just the other day I was wondering if you were still here in the US or if you had returned home. I'm so glad you were able to make it to Camp Cheerio this time. We all enjoyed meeting you in person and I really enjoyed being your "roomie." Having you here made our retreat extra special in 2012. | It is so nice to know you have made your trip complete and are safely home. I have been thinking about you and concerned as I thought you were to be home on the 4th. It was such a treat to meet you and Jeanne by our beautiful lake. I am disappointed that your trip was touched by "Sandy" but those things are part of life. Great memories good and bad. |

| Thanks everyone for your messages. I had such a geat time at Camp Cheerio that I would like to go again - probably not next year, but definitely soon. I would love to see you in Australia too, whenever anyone is able to make the trip. Grammyp and her husband are already planning to visit, perhaps polardream as well. Kristene (tinyteena) |
