That's one of my favorite blocks. You can do so much with it. Bev passed the addiction off to me. I'm planning one in Xmas fabrics next. I'm hooked, too.

I did one last winter and it's my fav quilt, hands down. Yours is going to be darling. I also lucked out with my materials. I got the batting, brand newie from Goodwill for two dollars and the backing, brand newie too from Goodwill for two dollars and the tan cotton background material also two dollars from Goodwill. The rest were scraps. My six dollar quilt.

I love the depression block and have made several. It makes a wonderful masculine quilt and can look intricate or simple depending on fabric choices.
