Are you quilting this weekend? Oct. 10-12

I plan to spend some time in my sewing room this weekend. We were supposed to close on our old house on Friday but now that has been moved to Tuesday. We have a 3 1/2 hour trip each way for the closing so not looking forward to all the traveling but will be relieved to have it finished.
Tonight we attended "Taste of Gahanna" sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. It was fun and very good food. DD is a board member and sponsors a table for her business.
I also want to go to Lowes to get my paint chips for Bonnie Hunter's new mystery quilt. Is anyone else doing the mystery this year? It starts in November but she posted the fabric requirements today.
Can't wait to hear about all of you attending retreat. Have fun, I know you will!

Getting another UFO quilted. Pile is shrinking.
It is Thanksgiving Day on Monday here in Canada, but we always have our dinner on Sunday, so we are driving to London, Ontario, a two hour trip, for dinner with two of our children and their families. That leaves Monday for more sewing! Yay!

Linda, I'll have to check out Bonnie's color scheme for this year. I made last year's mystery, so I will probably just save the steps this year. I'm making her Strip Twist right now.

I was off yesterday and am off today. I've gotten some sewing in so far. Today I'm going to visit my mom and tomorrow we take George (cat) to the vet for his annual checkup, but I should be able to get quite a bit more sewing time in this weekend. :)

Most likely I'll be at the sewing machine. I've pulled fabric for Bonnie's mystery.....even though I don't care for mystery quilts, I'm going to try it. I want to quilt the Big Star Little Quilt and have it ready for the baby shower next month and also try and get that dog quilt completed. Remember me working on that one (It's only been 5 years!)? I reconnected with the gal at the memorial service for Danyel and she still wants it.

Well out of town family is leaving this evening, we had a house full last night, so will be spending part of the weekend getting the house back in order. I will probably be doing some hand-quilting on the butterfly baby quilt and maybe cutting fabric for my Scattered Leaves quilt. Last night I made plastic templates for a pumpkin table runner.
