I don't subscribe to the magazine you mentioned, but a quick google search and you will find a number of different, free market tote patterns. See the link below for one I found rather quickly at Fresh Lemons...also happens to be a web site I frequent and the tutorials are great.

I don't subscribe to it but I do buy it on ebay once in awhile. Just search ebay for the issue you are looking for, chances are you'll find it ...maybe like me cheaper than subscribing.

little helen, thank you! I did see the free market tote patterns but you know how it goes. The one that I saw in Primitive Quilts magazine was rather unique. I could probably duplicate it on my own, but will check on ebay to see if I can find the issue I am looking for. I'll report back.
