removing a pic

I have noticed in the past that pics would be removed so I did a test.

I deleted my pic of 'bright eyes' from PB and after about 15 minutes it was not on the GW post I made.

I would think the pics posted directly to the forum a member would only be able to remove them by reqesting admin to remove them. Although I do not post anything I do not want anyone not on the forum to see - I still like having the control of removing my pics myself.

For this reason I will continue to use PB to post my pics.

When you link a picture from photobucket, picasa or any other on-line hosting site, the code you paste in here is simple that: a link. It's not really the picture. So if you alter the picture at the hosting site or eliminate it, then the same thing happens here. But, if you use GardenWebs new "Image file to upload (optional): CHOOSE FILE" thing, then the photo is truly uploaded to iVillage and you can't alter it or delete it.

I agree, Rosa! The best option is to continue to use PhotoBucket or other hosting site to post pics!
