I'm puzzled. Usually you would want that big throat on a machine that you could move the head around the quilt. This is stationary so all that throat doesn't do you much good. If you want a stationary head, you can get one with a large throat for half that money. A true FMQ machine has a roll to put the quilt on and a head you drive over it.

That is a true industrial machine of some sort but not a FMQ machine in my view.

No, it was like an industrial jeans machine. Straight stitch, huge throat, sit down. I think the owner sold it or realized listing it as a FMQ machine was misrepresentation. I saw it before it was removed.

Edited to add: I emailed while the ad was still up, and received an email this morning saying it was sold. If so, maybe that means it was a good price.
