| So, the question WAS "can you QAYG on the quilt frame?" The short answer is "Yes, you can"
I don't have it ready for a picture yet, but I just finished a queen sized quilt on the frame with semi-custom quilting and a 12" quilt design for the blocks. This is a 5 year old UFO that retreaters saw me get ready for the QAYG method. I was able to load it on the frame that way and with no bulk, I was able to quilt fairly well. I still need to remove the stencil paper and clip threads on the bakc...That's tonight's project. Then it'll be ready for trimming and binding! I'm very excited #1)that it's close to done, #2) it'll be ready for my guild's quilt show in Oct, and #3) QAYG works in grand scale! !! |
