Linda, I have a LOT of 1930's left over from my big quilt. Is there any particular color or theme you would like? I might have it!

Kate, any color will be fine. I want a variety of different colored blocks. I will probably border it in green or blue. I will decide when I see the blocks. Thanks for asking!

I'm ashamed I don't have your block done yet, but I WILL get to it this weekend and get it sent early next week. Hopefully it will get to you before (or ON) your birthday. I had good intentions to get the October blocks done a couple weeks ago but then we tore up the office to put new flooring in and my sewing room became the storage room instead!

Another block arrived today. Thank you Patti. I now have all the blocks. Thank you everyone for the beautiful blocks. I am going to make a few more so I can make a square quilt. This will be a beautiful baby quilt for my first grandchild due in March.

I finished putting the border on my birthday blocks quilt today. I am washing the bleached muslin that I will use for the backing. I plan to load it on the frame as soon as it dries and I iron the fabric.
Thank you to everyone for the great blocks. I love the quilt! I made a few more blocks so I could make it square (4X4 blocks).
I plan to keep this at my house to use when our grandbaby comes to visit. He will be born in March 2012.
