Sympathy here, I had to do the samething on the Double 4 patch I just did, thought I would like to stitch diagonal on the quilt but didn't like the look and had to rip, ofcourse I had to try more then 1 row!!!

I'm so sorry...that really stinks...sympathy and hugs.
(did half a border in FMQ on a quilt before I realized I hated it...rip, rip, rip)

Treat yourself to a new small seam ripper and use a good light! So sorry. Put it away tonight.

Bummer! My seam ripper is my best friend and worst enemy. Couldn't live without it.

I absolutely hate to rip. I feel your pain. Maybe that is why I seem to sew so slow, I don't want to make a mistake I have to rip out later. LOL

Oh boy.............my seam ripper sat relatively unused for decades until I took up quilting. It goes with the territory, doesn't it?

Ouch! I hate ripping too. Such a waste of time and thread! Sometimes really necessary however. I'm sure you'll be glad you did it though. I usually am. Be sure to rip on the backing side - just in case you catch the fabric. So sorry. Lois

I have stared at a quilt on the ironingboard for more than a week....it did not undo itself (ya know that control Z, who said that would work?haha)So my fingers are cramped and nails frayed, but we can start again.
