I am a little slow at posting this and there was probably a thread for posting pictures but I can't find it so here are my blocks from 2011 and 2012. I chose the same block for both years so that I had enough to make a good sized quilt.
These are my 2011 blocks. |

Wow! Those are colorful, cheerful blocks. Have you decided how you'll assemble them? Sashing? Borders? They'll make a great quilt.

I asked for scrappy and scrappy is what I got! There are couple that are not "playing well" with the others so will use them on the back. I think I will just sew them together without sashing....I like the way the pattern develops. Not sure if I will add a border.....will wait and see what it looks like. Mary

This block can have so many possibilities!! I, too, like the secondary/continuing pattern you get when you don't sash them... I did this with only 2 fabrics for a wedding quilt one time (navy & tan). It turned out great! Yours will be so nice when finished!

Bloomorelse, This is the Depression Block. It can make a variety of very different looking quilts!

I love that block. It looks great. Good idea to combine them in one larger quilt.
