| Little Johnny was shopping at the store and came across a shiny silver thermos. He was quite fascinated by it, so he picked it up and took it to the clerk to ask what it was.
The clerk said, "It's a thermos. It keeps hot things hot and cold things cold." "Wow," said Johnny, "that's really neat. I want one."
His teacher saw it on his desk and asked him about it. Johnny proudly showed his new thermos, explaining that it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold. His teacher asked, "What do you have in it?" Johnny replied, "Two popsicles and some hot chocolate." |
