That's really kind of you to finish another's quilt, especially since it doesn't appeal to you. I'm sure you will find someone who will treasure it.

I have something similar, but in colors I prefer. Mine is probably a group effort, all hand quilted. It's about 70 years old now and reminds me of my Grandmother who wasn't a quilter, but was the first to have the quilt, then my Mom, then me. Too bad this one didn't stay in the family and how wonderful that you are finishing it.

Not my style either, but someone will love this treasure. Nice of you to finish it.....donating it to someplace / someone will appreciate the effort. Your leaves are perfect.

All quilts should be finished by 'someone', even if it's outside of the original quilter's family. Someone will be sure to love that when it's finished!
