| She dyes her own fabric, sometimes one that's got a pattern already on it, sometimes not. She also uses photos she takes, alters in photoshop, then prints on fabric through a process she's learned. She took one of the classes at Empty Spools in Asilomar, but she takes lots! This summer we had a great time (4 of us quilting buddies that get together every June) having her teach us how to use photo sensitive dye with various objects as resists. We also did some silk screen type printing and she had dye crayons of some type for marking on fabric too. |
