National Sewing Machines

Hi. I hope you don't mind but I have a question about National Sewing Machines and saw a post from 2008 instructing someone to contact damascusannie at this link- that she may be able to help.
A gentleman my husband works with heard I love vintage sewing machines so has asked for help identifying and cleaning his grandmothers National. He has a serial number (A366419) so I was hoping to find a serial number list/try to ID the model and from there I may be able to find a manual etc.
I have not seen the machine - He wanted to see what I could find out before he bothers to bring it in.
I have been 'Googling' all morning and only found the history of the company on Ismacs site.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated. I'd love to fix this up for him properly and provide information that will allow his family to identify with this machine to help to really appreciate what they have.
Thank you!
