Question on yardage per poundage

Does anyone know how many yards of 44/45" cotton fabric are in one pound? Does it change significantly if it is flannel fabric? Thanks!

RE: Question on yardage per poundage

Karlene, I don't know the answer but I bet it varies wildly depending on the type and quality of the fabric.

I did a quick search for you and found this:
1 pound of poly/cotton fabric = 3.5 to 4 yards of 45" wide fabric.

RE: Question on yardage per poundage

Equilter lists approx 10 yards in their 3# packet. They have good quality fabric, too.

Here is a link that might be useful: fabric by the pound
