Some of you may remember this quilt from the online shophop about a year ago called "Nifty 9-Patch Sampler". I started it after collecting all the blocks but then other projects and life got in the way. The top has been pieced for several months but I didn't like the fabric I had chosen for the sashing as it was too light. I finally decided to quilt the sashing with darker thread in a stipple to darken it up a bit. This is the first quilt that I have done anything other than meander, loop d loop or SITD on. Here is the finished quilt 65 X 65. Pieced and quilted on my sapphire 835. I am happy with how it turned out.

| It is beautiful, I love the colours and the corner blocks look really nice! I've been meaning to plan/begin/make a quilt for my brother and he loves blues ... I was thinking blue and white, but that seemed too nautical really ... your colour scheme is softer but really striking and with good contrast! Really beautiful :) |

| Nicely done! I like samplers and enjoy the setting you used. Your quilting appears to be just the right thing to add the right touch. Good job, thanks for sharing. |
