Most impressive! ...how long does it take to assemble one tree? I'm assuming you are doing this on your machine, not by hand...correct? (sorry, you may have mentioned in your previous post...I just don't recall).

Yes, Valarie, they are machine pieced onto a foundation. Yesterday I made 2...I guess they take 2-3 hours each, depending on how many times I have to sew a piece more than once. :) The one I did yesterday morning had no problems (first time!) but with the second one I had to re-stitch several. Often I will get a corner folded over, or the piece slips and doesn't get caught in the stitching.

They're beautiful Donna. I'm sure it would be heavy with so many seams, but it will make a gorgeous lap quilt!

Rosa, it is very thick and stiff! But it's a wall hanging - finished size will be around 20 x 24, I think. :)

Oh my goodness! Beautiful! This is a test in Patience and skill. I love the color choice. This would make a pretty door knob hanger for the holidays (what are those called?) I have a few that are needle punched and I hang them on the bathroom door handles - helps guests find the necessary room during holiday gatherings.
