| As mentioned in another thread, the Indian Guides will be at Camp Cheerio while we are there. They always have cute tribe names on their tables, so we came up with some of our own and used them. This year I think we will need 4 tables and I would like to make "fancy" plaques for them. I thought a contest for names would be fun, so here goes. Nominations are open till Sunday. I will post all names nominated and you can vote for 4. The top for will be used at the retreat. You do not have to be coming to the retreat to nominate or vote. Here are the names we have so far:
1) Runs With Scissors
Feel free to add to our list. beverly |

| This might need a preface, Bev. At Camp Cheerio, we eat in a large communal dining hall filled with round tables and maybe another 150 campers, mostly children (they let us in first before the stampede). The campers sit with their "tribe" by names on the table and they find their own table that way. Since we're off in a corner at same type tables but without names, we added names to our tables in similar signs so we'd look the same. Names that are understandable to 8 year olds are best. That said, I like 1) Runs With Scissors |

| Great idea! I like Runs with Scissors a lot and also Plays with Tension. As for Dances with Wools, I never use wool so it is not very representative of me, but still cute. Maybe Dances with Thread as a suggestion for those who don't quilt using wool? I'll see if any ideas pop into my head. I just got back from helping with my triplet grandsons for 2 weeks. They are now almost 6 months old. The overnight flight home got me even more tired. I slept about half of the day once I got home. The babies sure are cute though. You know I will have pictures with me at Camp! Jeanne |
