Thank you! I have a nice lazy day with the grands planned. The youngest decorated my cake with sprinkles, mini marshmallows, gun drops, and banana shaped candies. Yum.

I'm not in the swap but am sending you wishes for a wonderful birthday, Beverly. Hope you get lots of nice blocks and have fun doing whatever you enjoy most of your birthday. Oh, and I believe birthdays after 30 or so should be celebrated over a period of time, not just for one day. It's a statistical thing.

Sorry I have not been on the forum for quite a while. Between trips to Montreal to get DD settled in and fall fairs I haven't had time to get on here.

I mailed your block last week. We had been in NY state the week before and of course I forgot to take the Sept. blocks with me to mail.
Hopefully it will arrive soon and you will have a full set!

Here is the picture of my birthday blocks. I carefully made a list of whose block was where, then I think I packed it in my stuff for the retreat. I did receive more than one block from a couple of my friends that are in another craft group. Thanks for all the beautiful blocks. I will add these to the quilt I have started.
