Kay, I have your block done, but took to to work to mail it and realized I don't have it in a zip lock. So, it may looks a little funny in the garbage bag I'm going to use, LOL!, but at least it should make it by Friday!

Hi, ladies, I popped in to count what has been received and what has been mailed for the September birthday ladies. It looks like Kay has only received 2 blocks from this group so far. There are 5 more on their way to her. Where are the other 5? Hopefully you have them in the mail to her and just didn't post of this thread. Everyone has been doing super in the exchange this year so this is just a gentle reminder. I suspect some people just forgot to list here that they have mailed!

Kay, You are a stronger person than I am. I don't see how you can wait to open your BD blocks. When DH brings me the mail, he stands and waits for me to open the squishies so he can see, too.

I am alittle concerned that you haven't gotten the block I sent.
It was mailed with a couple of others one the 8th of Sept.
The others have gotten theirs but I haven't seen mention of yours.
Please let me know if it doesn't show up as I will replace it.

I mailed your block on Tuesday. I was hoping to get it made sooner but had a little trouble choosing the fabric for this one. I really like the way it turned out and hope you do too.

I really hope you are able to post a photo of your blocks....I'm very interested to see how they look together. To be honest, I think the block I made for you is probably the one I like the most EVER!

Hi, Everyone, and thank you for the birthday wishes and the BEAUTIFUL blocks!

I've received all except Salijo's. Hopefully it will come today!

Sorry it's taken me a while to come back on here. Both our computers had to be replaced, and then all our equipment (including my camera, the modem and the router also needed to be replaced and/or new drivers found for them. What a mess!!! But DH is back on the road, so now I can breathe and get caught up a bit.

Oh, and 3 weeks ago we had a new addition... a baby donkey named Zach.

And thank you so much, Linda, for the quilt label. And, Beverly, I LOVE the card made with a photo of the block. Very nice!

The pictures are from both groups, I did write each person's name on the back, but didn't do a grid to list them as I posted.

A lot of eyebrows were raised, I think, over the colors in this block, but you should have seen my husband fondling them when they were opened. They're EXACTLY what I had in mind for a "non-girly" room!

Again, thanks so much for the cards, gifts and well wishes, they mean a lot!

How funny.....I can't tell for sure without close-up photos, but I think I see every fabric I used in my block somewhere in other blocks!
