A while back a friend gave me 4 large tubs of fabric/ quilting stuff that came from her boyfriend's mother. In one of the tubs were some partially made quilts. My mom was here and sorted through and pulled out some of the pieces of this star quilt. The center was done, but the woman had really large sections of a light cream print starting before the light green outer ring. It looked awful! Anyway, Mom took that apart, finished up the rest of the star after she found a darker cream/burgundy/green print in the tubs of fabric. She then sandwiched it and hand quilted the whole thing while she was here housesitting! I put the binding on and will return it to my friend. My friend, Wendy, came over and saw it and fell in love with it - she was so thrilled that she is getting a quilt that my mom hand quilted - and it turned out much prettier than the thing in the box! It is 48 x 48.

So - it's a group project and done!
