My spoiled rotten cats lounge on my t shirt quilt so it needs washing! So far, so good. I can't tell there has been any separation of the interfacing. Mine doesn't have quilting in the shirts at all - just in the woven fabrics.

I haven't quilted mine yet so I'm interested in the answers too. I used interfacing on all the tshirts and had planned to do an all over quilting pattern. Something fairly large (and probably swirly) so the quilt stays soft. I was thinking the all over pattern would be good if the interfacing did eventually separate or dissolve. I would be afraid with a simple X over the shirt face that bunched up interfacing might be more noticeable. Is my thinking messed up on this?

I've never done a t-shirt quilt, but I think an all over quilting pattern that covers more of the shirts would be helpful in keeping the interfacing in place if it should happen to separate. "more" quilting can be a good thing sometimes
