Modern Row Robin Quilt Along

A quilting friend and I are both participating in a mystery row robin that does not require exchanging rows. She found a link to a row robin that has a new row added on Monday for 5 weeks. Each row so far has four 12" blocks.
We both bought fat quarter bundles of City Girl fabric by Moda in 2009. We are using this for our row robin. I am using a cream for the background and she is using white.
We get together each week and compare our rows. It's fun to see how we each use the fabric and interpret the pattern.
You can see my rows at the link below.

What a neat idea! I love your 2nd row and think your layout of the stars is much more dynamic than the example. I could see a whole quilt done in those star blocks.

I like this idea, too. I'm a bit partial to stars, and I like your layout better. Will be interesting to see it completed.
