I had not seen that pattern. It would be great for my trail run quilts. Guess I'll put it on my to do lists, too. Sorry can't help out.

From looking at the samples on the link, I think the most successful designs are those where each knot is a different fabric. I like these much better than where the same fabric is used for all the knots.

Look at the blue and orange quilt, far right, second down.
