My sister called me yesterday to tell me about a newspaper ad advertising a large estate sale out near where I live that included quilts, all kinds of fabric and quilting books, pottery, furniture, and other great sounding stuff. I had just cleaned up from weeding garden and was planning to go grocery shopping, I decided I had a little time to go a little out of my way just to look. Wow! What a treat. Turned out be at Claudia Clark Myers' beautiful log home in the woods. Downsizing so having this company run the estate sale. Beautiful quilts, many hers but others' also. I went to just browse and so I did fine with only buying 3 pieces of fabric and a couple other small items.
