Fabric and pattern for a new quilt

Here is the fabric my sister and I picked out last weekend in Madison, Wisconsin. There is a great quilt shop 5 minutes from her home called Stitchers' Crossing. The pattern is City Tracks from Cherri House's book, "City Quilts." I'm making it 96x102 for my nephew and his wife, the parents of the little girls I made the Marimekko Chinese coin quilts for. My sis bought the fabric, and I'm providing the sewing. We were so excited to find 108" backing in the red on red polka dot fabric. The recipients wanted a bright red modern quilt. They're getting one. This should be fun!

I second that. The quilt looks like fun.

You're going to have a blast making this! Everytime you look at the fabric you'll get fired up to sew more.
I've seen that pattern at my local quilt shop too and thought it was very attractive! Can't wait to see your finished product.

Love those colors. The yellow will be such a nice punch.
